About Vestaxx

Vestaxx GmbH develops and markets heating insulating glass for building heating. A transparent metal oxide heating layer (TEC coating) is applied to the room-side pane of a 2-pane or 3-pane insulating glass unit; it is energized with electric current and heats the pane. The thermal radiation is reflected back into the living space by low-e coatings on the opposite panes, while the argon-filled pane gaps insulate towards the outside; the system efficiency is approx. 95 %. The heating panes made of float glass, laminated safety glass (VSG) or tempered safety glass (ESG) are manufactured in sizes from 600 x 600 mm to 2.500 x 3.000 mm (max. 300 kg) and achieve heating outputs up to 300 W/m². Vestaxx supplies window manufacturers and building component manufacturers with all components needed to convert a standard window into a heating window, provides architects with online software for heating design, and supports the technical integration. Key applications are new construction and low-energy houses, especially in combination with photovoltaics. The headquarters are located in Berlin-Adlershof; glass production takes place as a manufacturing site at Jedopane Isolierglas GmbH in Aurich.
