About VGB Natursteine
VGB Natursteine operates its own quarry in Fürstenstein in the Bavarian Forest, where it extracts Füstensteiner granite (diorite), Steininger granite (granodiorite) and Moosholzer granite. At the company's own granite works at the same location, the Bavarian Forest granites are further processed into split or sawn setts, slabs, kerbstones, wall stones and any desired workpieces. In addition to primary production, the company offers reclaimed setts, used granite slabs and historical natural stone rarities. A special feature are massive natural stone boulders from the company's own deposit, which occur in various sizes and unique shapes and weigh up to 70 tonnes. The products are used in landscaping, open space design, playground construction and art. According to the company, the granites have proven themselves for over 100 years and are advertised with the best technical values.
