About Vibracoustic
Vibracoustic SE is an automotive supplier focused on Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) and develops customer-specific solutions for powertrain and chassis in all automotive segments. The NVH components reduce noise and vibrations from the engine, powertrain and road and include engine and transmission mounts, chassis mounts, cabin mounts, air springs as well as joint discs and dampers. Manufacturing includes, among other things, vulcanization of rubber compounds, rubber-to-metal bonding, two-component processes (DualRubber, DuPlas), plastic injection molding, laser welding and hot gas welding. Materials are natural rubber, EPDM, silicone and chloroprene rubber, microcellular polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomers, fiber-reinforced thermoplastics as well as aluminum including aluminum die casting. The company supports customers throughout the entire product life cycle, from materials research through development, prototype production and vehicle testing to series production, logistics with just-in-time delivery and aftermarket. Worldwide, around 12,000 employees work in 17 countries at approximately 40 engineering and manufacturing sites, including 16 R&D sites; the German presence includes the headquarters in Weinheim as well as production sites in Breuberg and Neuenburg.

Materials & Processes
Natural rubber
Specially developed compounds for NVH performance with progressive stiffness, including in engine and transmission mounts.
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber)
Elastomer for rubber-to-metal vulcanization with aging and weather resistance.
Silicone rubber
Heat-resistant rubber for temperature-optimized powertrain applications.
Chloroprene rubber
Proven elastomer material for rubber-to-metal bonding in NVH mounts.
Microcellular polyurethane (MCU)
Cellular polyurethane for damping mount and spring elements.
Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE)
Used, among other things, in engine mount bushings for double isolation and higher efficiency.
Fiber-reinforced thermoplastics (polyamide-based)
Glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide for laser-welded chassis mounts that are over 20% lighter.
Aluminum
Corrosion-resistant lightweight metal for outer housings of hydraulic chassis mounts.
Aluminum die casting
Weight- and cost-efficient metal components for transmission mounts in optimized installation space.
