The Company
For more than 25 years, Vidobe Stahlbau & Schweißtechnik GmbH has been a reliable partner of shipyards, shipping companies, property developers and other companies in the manufacture and processing of structural steel products. The service portfolio includes shipbuilding/section construction, pipeline construction, mechanical engineering, structural steel and steel hall construction, silo and pontoon construction, on-/offshore manufacturing as well as material processing, assembly, conversions and repairs. Steel and aluminium are processed, with production methods ranging from flame cutting, shear cutting and bending to rolling, welding and final assembly. Shipbuilding sections are produced with heights of 4.0–4.5 m, widths up to 10 m and lengths up to 25 m. The facility has a 13,000 m² site with 2,700 m² of hall space and direct waterway access to the Elbe; annual output is approx. 3,000 t of steel with 26 employees.
