About Viktor Meili AG
The Viktor Meili AG is a Swiss family-owned company in its fourth generation with its headquarters in Schübelbach (Canton of Schwyz). Since 1934, the company has been developing vehicle concepts and transmission components, and today manufactures twelve series vehicle types as well as custom-built special-purpose vehicles. The portfolio includes carrier vehicles, transporters and snow blowers for winter and summer services, some as 100 % electric vehicles with lithium-ion batteries. At the Schübelbach competence center, axles and transmissions are developed and produced in-house; wiring harnesses and dashboards are also made in-house. The steel chassis are sandblasted, galvanized, primed and painted. Main customers are municipalities, municipal yards and service providers; special-purpose vehicles have also been built for the military and fire services. In 2020, the electric municipal vehicles received the Watt d'Or from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy. A branch in St-Triphon serves western Switzerland, and representation exists for southern Germany.
