About VinylPlus Deutschland

VinylPlus Deutschland e.V. is the voice of the PVC industry in Germany and, with more than 50 — according to the network's website even more than 60 — member companies, represents the entire PVC value chain: from polymer production through additive and machinery manufacturers, compounders and PVC processors to recyclers, distributors and service providers. Based in Bonn (formerly AGPU – Arbeitsgemeinschaft PVC und Umwelt e.V.), the association pools expert knowledge, promotes exchange within the industry and conducts dialogue with decision-makers from business, civil society, science and politics. Its key areas of work include the circular economy for PVC, sustainable product design, contributions to climate neutrality, consumer safety, and waste and chemicals law aspects of the PVC life cycle. In the working groups Communication, Knowledge and Recovery, experts develop position papers and manage formats such as the PVC symposia, the PVC Wiki and the PVC Recycling Finder. Since 2022, the initiative has been registered in the Lobby Register as an official interest representation and has drawn up a code of conduct for responsible interest representation.
