VISCOM Automotive GmbH, based in Germersheim, is a manufacturer of flowbench test benches for calibrating the variable turbine geometry (VTG/VNT) of turbochargers. The sister company of Turbolader Pfalz GmbH brings around 20 years of practical experience in turbocharger remanufacturing to its own automation solutions. The test benches are developed and manufactured in Germersheim and have been in use for more than ten years by over 250 customers on five continents, including workshops, testing laboratories, OEMs and automotive manufacturers. The portfolio comprises four test bench editions (ECO, Basic, Comfort, Premium) with Beckhoff industrial control, the iCOM/iPROG system for testing and programming electronic VTG actuators, and the patented TM-A adapter system, which covers around 95 % of all common turbocharger types. In addition, the company offers testing assignments with a written test report, court-admissible technical turbocharger expert reports, manufacturing of turbocharger special parts such as compressor wheels and housings, technical training courses, as well as support and software updates with a database of over 4,000 turbocharger types.

Flowbench measurement method
Acquisition of air mass flow, actuation angle and pressure curve as a function of vane position to generate the VTG characteristic curve.
iCOM actuator test system
Tests electronic VTG actuators and solenoid valves from HELLA, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Sonceboz, Denso and Pierburg via a plug-&-play adapter solution.
iPROG programming module
Programs electronic VTG actuators directly at the test bench.

Fast turbocharger mounting using neodymium magnet technology with four adapters and an industrial touchscreen.
