About us

VisioCraft GmbH was founded in April 2010 and began operations on 1 July 2010 in its premises at the Innovation and Start-up Centre (IGZ) in Erlangen. The company works exclusively in medical optical measurement technology and therapy, primarily on the eye. Its range of services covers the development and manufacture of ophthalmological diagnostic devices, software development for device control and data processing, as well as consulting and application-oriented research in the field of ophthalmological diagnosis and therapy. In addition, VisioCraft offers quality management services, including consulting and implementation, device safety and medical IT networks. The interdisciplinary team has many years of experience in optical measurement technology (wavefront sensing, surface metrology), ophthalmological diagnostics and optometry, therapeutic lasers (excimer, Nd:YAG, erbium:YAG, femtosecond lasers), image processing and medical software development. The focus is on the analysis of the imaging quality and geometry of the cornea, in particular for planning refractive procedures such as LASIK, LASEK or PRK as well as for preventive screening for keratectasia.
