About Vision Devices

Vision Devices GmbH, based in Metzingen, develops and produces custom electronic control units and lighting solutions for industrial applications. Its range of services covers electronics development (circuit design, PCB layout, microcontrollers, power electronics, sensor technology and motor controls as well as EMC-compliant product development), embedded software and firmware in C/C++ including real-time systems, Embedded Linux, drivers and control algorithms, as well as PC, web and system software with Qt/C++, C#, HMI and web interfaces. Electronics, firmware, communication and application software are considered as a complete system in order to reduce interface problems and shorten the path from functional prototype to series product. Project work follows a defined process from requirements and concept through electronics, firmware and software to prototype, test, series production and support. Own products include, among others, the VD36 high-speed LED light, the VD705 daylight light, the compact AXL LED light, the SimuSens sunlight simulation system for sensor testing, as well as EC/BLDC motor controls, industrial chargers and a Micro Tool Controller for intelligent assembly tools. Customers come from industrial electronics, mechanical engineering, automotive, aerospace, medical technology and security technology.
