About vision-tec
vision-tec gmbh was founded in Kassel in 2011 as a planning office and develops and manufactures patented detection and sorting machines for the beverage and food industry. The product range includes ejection systems, crate, bottle and pallet inspection, deposit value checks as well as its own sorting robot systems with up to 1,200 crates per hour. As a solution provider, the company plans complete systems as general contractor and modernizes existing systems through retrofits with LED-UV lighting, multi-camera systems and new software. The systems use artificial intelligence and machine learning for image recognition as well as Windows-based controls and digital interfaces such as OPC UA, the Weihenstephan standard and SAP integration. The machines are assembled fully pre-configured in the company's own assembly hall at the Kassel headquarters. Reference customers include breweries, mineral water bottlers and beverage logistics providers in Germany, Europe and Latin America.

Materials and Processes
Stainless steel
V2A is used for the housings of the HF measuring heads of the bottle inspection systems.
Plastic (PET)
PET bottles in single-use, reusable and PETCYCLE variants are processed by the detection and sorting technology.
Glass
Flint glass including UV-coated bottles is detected and sorted via UV sensor technology.
Wood
Wooden pallets pass through the empty pallet inspection with dimension, print, tensile and weighing checks.
