About VMS
VMS – Vorrichtungs- und Maschinenbau GmbH specializes in the single-piece production of jigs, fixtures and machine components as well as series, small-batch and medium-batch production in metal processing. The service portfolio includes CNC milling, CNC turning, CNC gear shaping, jig and fixture construction and contract manufacturing, complemented by heat and surface treatments as well as 3-D programming and CAD data preparation. Parts are machined from all machinable materials – from prototypes (1–50 pieces) and single-piece production through to medium-sized series of 10 to 50,000 pieces. More than 100 employees produce around the clock in 3-shift operation on approximately 7,500 sqm of production space. The plant is located on the edge of the southern Bavarian Forest, about 5 km north of Passau on the B 12. Customers include companies from mechanical and tool engineering, precision mechanics and metal processing; the company is certified to ISO 9001.
