The Vogelgesang Unternehmensgruppe, headquartered in Wiernsheim (Baden-Württemberg), comprises the business divisions Vogelgesang Ingenieure (technical development), Vogelgesang AG – Models and Concept Vehicles, Vogelgesang Personaldienstleistungen GmbH, Clever-Parts GmbH and Vogelgesang Motorsport GmbH. Vogelgesang Ingenieure handles the conceptualization and design of complex systems as well as product development of interior and exterior assemblies, complete modules, box/body-in-white structures, lighting technology, motorsport, and textile and acoustic assemblies in CATIA V5 and Siemens NX. Vogelgesang AG realizes cut-away vehicles, functional prototypes, clay and presentation models, CFRP/GFRP assemblies, vehicle conversions as well as prototypes and CNC small series in all materials in its sample-building division. The CNC machine park comprises several 3-, 5- and 6-axis machining centers in separate milling cabins as well as a gantry milling robot system with travel paths of 6000 × 6000 × 3000 mm for large sculptures and oversized positive models. Processes such as RRIM assemblies, plastic injection molding and common rapid prototyping processes complement the portfolio. Customers come primarily from the automotive industry and motorsport.

Quality assurance includes 3D measuring machines (internal/external), measuring devices for contour, surface and form measurements as well as monitoring of inspection equipment based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in a climate-controlled measuring room.
