About VOLK Kunststoffverarbeitung
VOLK Kunststoffverarbeitung is an owner-managed family business founded in 2001 in Sonneberg/Thuringia that manufactures plastic parts and assemblies as a full-service supplier. Its value chain includes product development and design using modern 3D CAD/CAM systems and simulation software, prototyping via 3D printing in ABS, an in-house tool and mould shop for injection moulds including aluminium prototype tools, series production in plastic injection moulding as well as plastic blow extrusion, assembly of components, shipping and logistics. In injection moulding, various thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers are processed on fully hydraulic and fully electric machines with clamping forces of 250 to 1200 kN; part weights from approx. 0.1 g are possible. The machine park is complemented by part/sprue removal, conveyor belts, shredding mills and central material supply. Production is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; in addition, FMEA is used for proactive weak-point analysis.
