von Elling GmbH, based in Reinfeld (Schleswig-Holstein), has been active in standard and special gaskets since 1893. The manufacturing focus is on metal gaskets, which are turned, punched or cut to drawing or sample. In addition, soft-material gaskets are produced from asbestos-free sheets, graphite, PTFE, elastomers and vulcanized fibre, also with flanges made of stainless steel or copper as well as with PTFE jackets. The portfolio includes flat gaskets to DIN 7603, DIN 16258, DIN 2690/2691/2692 and EN 1514-1, camprofile gaskets to DIN 2697 and EN 1514-4/-6 as well as solid turned rings; camprofiled vessel gaskets are possible up to approx. 4500 mm diameter. In addition to its own production in the turning shop, metal punching shop and soft-material punching shop, the company offers contract work from customer material, short-term procurement of standard and special gaskets from an extensive semi-finished product and standard parts warehouse as well as customer-specific assortments (e.g. 540-piece O-ring assortments). Customers come primarily from shipping and industry.
