About the Wine Estate

The von Winning wine estate in Deidesheim in the Palatinate cultivates around 80 hectares of vineyards and produces predominantly Riesling wines, including Grosses Gewächs from renowned vineyard sites such as Kirchenstück, Pechstein, Ungeheuer and Kieselberg. The estate is a member of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP). In addition to winemaking, its offering includes an own restaurant (Leopold) and the historic, listed manor villa as an event venue for weddings, conferences and corporate events. The offering also includes wine tastings with cellar tours as well as vineyard hikes. The estate emerged in 1849 from the Jordanian partition and is today part of the corporate group of Achim Niederberger, who acquired it and died in 2007; his widow Jana Seeger runs the wine estate as owner.
