About Vormann Brauerei
The Vormann Brauerei is a family-run private brewery in Hagen-Dahl that has been brewing beer since 1877 and is today managed in its fifth generation. In addition to classic beer styles such as Pilsner and Altbier as well as specialties like the Sauerland wheat beer and the Dahler Urbräu, the brewery produces and bottles beers for other breweries on a contract basis, including I.P.A.s of the FritzAle brand, prototypes of the creative brewery Kehrwieder from Hamburg, and the Pumpernickel Porter of the Gruthaus Brauerei from Münster. The brewery is part of the Route of Industrial Culture and a member of the Brauring, a cooperative association of private breweries from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The site at Braugasse 3-5 includes a farm shop, a beer garden and the brewery taproom at Dahler Straße 61. The beers are available throughout Germany via the marketplace of the Bierothek®.
