Voß Wärmepumpen: heat pump manufacturer from Furth im Wald
Voß Wärmepumpen GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1999 in Furth im Wald that emerged from refrigeration and air conditioning technology. Since 2004, the company has developed and built its own heat pumps for the heat sources outdoor air, ground and groundwater – from residential buildings to special systems such as a wastewater heat pump. The current propane series (LW12-P, LW18-P) operates with the natural refrigerant R290 and features variable-speed control; the LW12-P was independently tested at the Heat Pump Test Center Switzerland (WPZ). In addition to its own heat pump manufacturing, the range of services includes system planning, commissioning, repair and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems as well as in-house building control technology with programming, visualization and control cabinet construction. Research cooperations with the Fraunhofer Institute, RWTH Aachen University and municipal utilities support the development of capacity-controlled propane heat pumps. The company is based at its headquarters at Lange Gasse 20 in Furth im Wald and supplies customers in Germany and Switzerland.
