About Vossloh-Schwabe
Vossloh-Schwabe Deutschland GmbH develops, manufactures and distributes system solutions and components for lighting technology, including LED modules, LED drivers, LED optics, reflectors, light management systems (Blu2Light), emergency lighting units and accessories. A core manufacturing area is the custom development and injection moulding of LED optics from PMMA and polycarbonate – from design and simulation (fill, flow and warpage behaviour) through in-house mould and toolmaking in Germany with machining centres to automated injection moulding production at European manufacturing sites. Modern injection moulding machines from 35 to 500 t clamping force enable parts up to a size of one metre; special peripherals, automatic removal and packaging ensure production-accompanying quality. In addition, the company offers measurement services such as optical and mechanical component measurement as well as testing of light distribution, CCT and UGR. Customer sectors include shop, office, industrial and street lighting, greenhouse lighting, household appliances and building automation. The headquarters is located in Schorndorf; the largest production hall and development are in Svilajnac (Serbia), with a central warehouse in Ettlingen.
