About VPD GmbH

VPD GmbH in Dresden was formed in 2024 from the merger of Vakuum- und Präzisionsteilefertigung Dresden GmbH (founded in 1991) and FAD Fertigungs- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH (founded in 1998). The company manufactures high-precision components and assemblies using CNC turning, CNC milling, CNC grinding and CNC deep-hole drilling, as well as welding and brazing up to vacuum brazing. Core competencies also include vacuum technology, clamping technology and jig and fixture construction, as well as automation and special machinery construction including design and feasibility studies. Production is carried out in single-part and small-batch production, specializing in special materials such as titanium, special alloys and high-strength steel. Customers come from industries such as semiconductors, photovoltaics, automotive, aerospace, wind power and medical technology, as well as special machinery construction and research. VPD regularly collaborates with TU Dresden and Fraunhofer institutes.
