VWH GmbH, based in Herschbach (Oberwesterwald), is a family-owned company specialising in special machinery and toolmaking with more than 100 employees. The company develops, manufactures and installs special machinery and automation solutions, including handling, assembly and inspection systems, robotic systems, laser systems for marking, welding and cutting, as well as semi- and fully automatic inspection systems for the automotive, electronics, consumer goods and medical technology sectors. In its own toolmaking shop, injection moulding tools are produced from single-cavity to multi-cavity tools, from aluminium prototype moulds to series production moulds made of high-strength steel; in the in-house technical centre, small series are sampled in injection moulding (35 to 400 t clamping force). The manufacturing depth includes milling (3- to 5-axis), turning, grinding, wire EDM and die sinking EDM under one roof. Since 2025, a 3D measuring system from Zeiss has complemented quality assurance and enables re-engineering of obsolete spare parts.
