About Gessmann

Since 1930, W. Gessmann GmbH has been developing and manufacturing technically sophisticated HMI (Human Machine Interface) solutions such as industrial joysticks, joystick grips, control panels, control stands, foot pedals, rail master controllers and industrial switchgear. The products are designed for continuous use in industrial environments and are used, among other things, in crane technology, marine technology, rail technology, electro-hydraulics as well as mechanical engineering, construction and intralogistics. The entire value chain from concept, design, prototyping and testing through to series production and final assembly is carried out in-house with a high level of manufacturing depth. In addition to the HMI business, the company offers robotics solutions: the autonomous mobile robot GESSbot as well as cobot system integration including gripper design, safety concept, CE compliance and connection to WMS, MES and ERP systems. Products are sold worldwide, among others via own subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America.

Quality

Gessmann pursues a zero-defect strategy with preventive quality assurance: error prevention instead of error correction, based on the principle that quality is produced, not inspected. Strict quality controls accompany every step from material selection to final assembly.
