W.P. Hydroschneide Technik GmbH & Co. KG in Sigmarszell has been active in cutting technology for over 30 years and produces precise cut parts for industry, architecture and mechanical engineering. At its core is waterjet cutting, which works without heat input and thus avoids material distortion, micro-cracks and fraying. With the pure waterjet, elastic materials such as rubber, silicone and engineering plastics are machined; with added garnet sand (abrasive jet), hard materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, granite, ceramics, glass and fibre composites are also cut. Cutting accuracy is up to ±0.1 mm. In addition, the company offers laser cutting as well as CNC milling and turning. Prototypes, series tools and special solutions are produced in its own toolmaking shop, so machining is handled from data preparation to the finished component all from a single source.
