About W.S.M. Werkzeugstahl

W.S.M. Werkzeugstahl GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned mid-sized company for tool steels, founded in 1970 by Werner Sauermann in Meinerzhagen. Its core business is trading in an extensive range of supply of various steel grades, including those to DIN EN ISO 4957, as well as custom machining and forming of bar steel and heavy plate. Around 5,000 tonnes of all common tool steels are stocked on site in six halls. In addition to cutting with cut widths up to 1,000 mm and cut lengths up to 4,000 mm, the company offers turning, milling based on 2D and 3D data sets, grinding, rough and finish machining as well as system and deep-hole drilling. Customers come primarily from the plastics processing industry, mechanical engineering and hot runner technology; more than 1,000 customers are served. Delivery is carried out by the company's own fleet and contract hauliers; just-in-time deliveries are part of daily business.
