W. u. E. Rau (Rau Auto-Zubehör) manufactures tailor-made seat covers for cars, vans, tractors, construction machinery and motorhomes. Each cover is produced as a one-off piece by hand in Germany and matched millimeter-precisely to the equipment of the respective vehicle; controls such as airbags remain fully functional and required openings are reinforced. Materials used include fabric, lambskin, jeans and synthetic leather, available in various cut designs and colors. The portfolio also includes durable floor mats, first-aid kits and other vehicle accessories. Customers are car dealerships, automotive workshops, the accessories trade as well as commercial and private end consumers; selection is made via an online configurator, a dealer area with a fabric sample collection and a private-customer shop. The company looks back on over 65 years of experience and manufactures exclusively Made in Germany.
