About Wachstumsland
Wachstumsland is a sole proprietorship run by Anja Stehle, based in Sonnenbühl on the Swabian Alb. The company hand-crafts peat-free organic no-till living soil, a living substrate with organic and mineral components such as green waste compost, bark humus and worm castings. Around 90 percent of the raw materials used come from the region. The living soil matures for at least three weeks under controlled conditions before being sold and contains organic slow-release fertilizers for nutrient supply for up to six months. The product range also includes compost tea with active microorganisms, organic-certified activated biochar and certified, GMO-free seed for green manuring and companion planting, including white clover, red clover, alfalfa, bitter lupins, Alexandrian clover, yellow mustard, oilseed radish and seed mixtures. The products are aimed at gardeners, farmers and nature lovers for cultivation in beds, raised beds, pots as well as indoor and outdoor grows. Sales are handled through the company's own online shop with shipping within Germany.
