About WACOR / MEWATEC
WACOR GmbH is an owner-managed family business based in Berlin-Grünau (MEWATEC Business Park), specialising in shower toilets for personal hygiene. Under its own MEWATEC brand, the company develops, produces and distributes shower toilet complete systems (e.g. EasyUp 2.0, Florence), retrofit attachments, shower toilet sets, flushing systems (surface-mounted cisterns MagicWall, concealed cistern elements SlimFix) as well as travel bidets. Materials used include toilet ceramics, produced in an endothermic firing process at over 1200 °C and finished with the baked-in MewaNANOtec coating, as well as plastics such as UV-resistant duroplast (silver ions), ABS and PP for lids and seats, stainless steel for shower arm and shower head, and tempered glass for glass fronts. Production takes place at six international sites, including the technology centres of South Korea and Japan, and is monitored by the German headquarters; around 40 engineers work in R&D. Sales are made directly to end customers and plumbers, complemented by expert advice, a 24h repair service and a spare parts service with 20 years of spare parts availability.
