Wagner & Schönherr Massivholz Produkte GmbH was founded in 2007 by Bernd Wagner and Frank Schönherr in Salzwedel/OT Brietz. The company manufactures exclusively in Germany custom products made from genuine solid wood: worktops in thicknesses from 30 to 80 mm, finger-jointed or with continuous laminations and 12 edge shapes; kitchen fronts made from three-layer panels (19 mm); niche backs in sandwich construction (16 or 19 mm, vertical, horizontal or in herringbone look); counters with straight edges or curved live edges; shelves with recessed aluminium profiles; and kitchen islands with integrated water station and hob in the FLY and WERKBANK versions. It processes 26 wood species, from domestic varieties such as beech, oak and steamed beech to exotic woods such as zebrano, wenge and sapeli mahogany; the company exclusively offers its self-developed Salzeiche (salt oak). Table frames are available in ten models made of wood or steel. Production takes place with a large machine park, and final inspection is carried out down to the smallest detail by specially trained staff. Delivery is exclusively to the kitchen retail trade, directly from the factory with its own trucks without transshipment via its own freight forwarding operation.
