Plastics Processing at Wagner Schriften
The plastics processing division of Wagner Schriften AG in Wohlen manufactures products from Plexiglas (PMMA), acrylic glass, polycarbonate, PET, PVC foam and rigid PVC sheets as well as polystyrene. Production includes milling and laser work, UV digital printing and screen printing, joining with solvent and 2-component adhesives, linear bending as well as polishing (machine polishing, polishing wheel, flame polishing). Products manufactured include displays, showcases, cover hoods, protective covers, shop window decorations, furniture as well as signage and lettering, mostly as one-off productions and small series. Customers include internationally active trade fair builders, event companies, stage builders, mass-market retailers, shop fitters, refrigeration chains and hotel chains. The company was founded in 1987 as Kunststoffverarbeitung hj maurer, taken over in 2019 by Patrick Maurer and, since the merger with Wagner Schriften AG on 1 September 2022, has been its plastics processing division at the Wohlen site.

- 1987
On 1 April 1987, Hans-Jörg Maurer founded Kunststoffverarbeitung hj maurer with the support of his wife Franziska; the workshop was initially located in the family's home.
- 1987–2007
Production at the Villmergen site with continuous growth and expansion of the premises.

Relocation to Dintikon (Silostrasse) due to larger premises.
- 2019
Patrick Maurer took over his parents' company on 1 January 2019 and renamed it Kunststoffverarbeitung p maurer.
- 2022
Merger of Plexi Maurer and Wagner Schriften AG as of 1 September 2022; the plastics processing division relocated to Wohlen into the business premises of Wagner Schriften AG.
