About WAL
WAL Mess- und Regelsysteme GmbH was founded in 1992 by Dipl.-Ing. Detlef Wölbern and specialises in the planning, engineering and implementation of measurement, control and automation systems. The company in Oldenburg develops and manufactures measurement systems and controllers for industrial use, with a particular focus on customised solutions for food and dairy technology. WAL is internationally renowned above all for its process expertise in butter production: the company automates and visualises complete production lines – from cream intake through cream treatment and butter production to packaging and fully automatic CIP cleaning. As a system partner of Endress + Hauser, WAL implements complete measurement systems; automation is based on Siemens PLC components or, for the US market, Rockwell Automation. Further business areas are industrial and logistics technology as well as environmental and wastewater engineering, for which the company is licensed under WHG 19 I. A worldwide service and spare-parts service with pre-calibrated original parts and exchange devices with factory warranty rounds off the range of services.
