Walcher GmbH & Co. KG is an industrial company in Eichenzell (Hesse) with over 60 years of experience in the manufacture of small transformers as well as the development and production of mains regulators, series regulators and automation technology. The product range includes transformers, mesh current regulators, relays, series regulators for wind turbines, compact mains regulators, mains simulators, feed-in units and test benches. Production is geared towards medium and small batches down to individual pieces; semi-automatic winding machines can be set up and reprogrammed quickly, and by the time a fully automatic machine is ready, the small batch is already finished. Every transformer undergoes individual piece testing before delivery. Quality features include vacuum resin impregnation, good inherent noise damping, high-quality low-loss materials, optimal dielectric strength and low self-heating. Fields of application are automation, hydropower and energy transmission; manufacturing takes place exclusively in Germany (Made in Germany).
