About WFW
Waldburg Forstmaschinen GmbH (WFW) has been active in the trade and service of forestry machinery since 1993, supplying customers in the DACH and Benelux regions. The mid-sized family company, part of the corporate group of the princely house of Waldburg-Wolfegg, sells new and used machines of the brands EcoLog (harvesters and forwarders), Nisula (thinning harvesters) as well as harvester heads from LogMax, Waratah and Nisula. In its own workshop in Wolfegg, the company carries out maintenance, repairs to mechanics, hydraulics, electrics and electronics, conversions and rebuilds to WFW standard as well as welding work; mobile workshop vans perform on-site operations in the forest. The offering also includes spare parts and accessories for forestry, agriculture, construction and municipal applications, UVV crane inspections, training including a simulator, and the company's own test course with gradients of up to 100%. In 2024, the sister company LOUP MF was founded in Alsace, serving the French market exclusively; in November 2025, the Central location in Schlitz opened.
