About walden
walden GmbH from Pram in Upper Austria manufactures custom solid wood kitchens as well as living furniture such as sideboards, shelving units, coffee tables and side tables. Each kitchen is planned and manufactured only after the customer's order, including custom designs. The value chain extends from the forest through the sawmill and wood seasoning to the company's own panel plant, where dimensionally stable 3-layer solid wood panels are produced, and on to the kitchen plant, where state-of-the-art technology is combined with traditional craftsmanship. The wood species used are oak (wild, natural, white), ash, robinia and heartwood beech; these are complemented by linoleum surfaces, glass, metal and leather. The oiled surfaces are treated with a mixture of linseed oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, beeswax and carnauba wax. In addition to manufacturing and installation by trained installers, the company offers care and repair service for solid wood surfaces as well as a dealer network for consultation.
