About Waldfabrik
Waldfabrik GmbH is a woodcraft manufactory based in Freudenstadt in the Black Forest. There, a small team develops timeless, nature-inspired designs and produces decorative gift ideas, decoration items and useful everyday products. Manufacturing takes place in Europe: traditional craftsmanship such as sawing, woodturning and sanding is combined with modern production methods; the product range is refined through engraving and oiling with food-grade oil. Native softwoods such as Swiss stone pine and larch are processed, as well as hardwoods such as maple, birch, oak, ash, alder and cherry – a total of around 1,000 cubic meters of wood per year from sustainable forestry in the European Union. Thanks to the process design, nearly all parts of the tree are used, from twigs and branches through heartwood and sapwood to bark. Distribution takes place via the company's own online shop for private customers as well as via a trade shop (pro.waldfabrik.de) with delivery to numerous European countries.
