Fine craftsmanship from master hands
Waldmann GmbH is a manufactory for high-quality writing instruments based in Ölbronn-Dürrn near Pforzheim. Founded in 1918 in Pforzheim as a production facility for propelling and mechanical pencils made of gold and silver, today's range includes fountain pens, rollerball pens, ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils made of solid 925 sterling silver as well as brass and 18-carat gold. 100 % of production takes place at the German site by experienced skilled workers using traditional craftsmanship techniques; these include guilloché engraving and hand engraving in the guilloché (Vienna) pattern, which only a few master engravers still master. Depending on the model, mother-of-pearl, leather, carbon and gemstones are also processed. Worldwide patents exist for special twist mechanisms for 2- and 4-colour writing instruments. The manufactory's products are distributed via an international dealer network, accompanied by a repair service and a 10-year guarantee.
