About Wallner Automation
Founded in 2008, Wallner Automation is a custom electronics company with locations in Taufkirchen an der Pram (Upper Austria) and Eugendorf near Salzburg. Its core competence is custom electronics development (hardware and software) including production – from specification through PCB design (eCAD with Altium and Mentor Pads), microcontroller and FPGA programming, embedded Linux and touch systems to volume manufacturing of OEM products. Electronics manufacturing takes place within Europe; batch sizes from 100 to over 20,000 units are possible. A key focus is functional safety according to EN 61508 (SIL3) and EN 13849 (Cat 4, PL e); projects have been realized with TÜV Süd, TÜV Rheinland, TÜV Austria and UL. The in-house EMC test laboratory performs immunity tests (burst, surge, ESD) as well as climatic tests to prepare for CE and UL certifications. Customers come from industrial electronics, building automation, functional safety, renewable energies, aerospace, automotive, smart home and agricultural technology.
