About WALTER
Walter Maschinenbau GmbH, headquartered in Tübingen, produces CNC machines for grinding and eroding, as well as laser processing of metal, wood processing, and PKD tools and rotationally symmetric production parts. The portfolio includes tool grinding machines (e.g., HELITRONIC FUSION, POWER 400, VISION 400 L), tool eroding machines for PKD/CBN with combined grinding in one setup, the VISION LASER laser processing machine, and optical CNC measuring machines from the HELICHECK series for non-contact complete measurement of complex precision tools with documented accuracy. The program is supplemented by proprietary software (HELITRONIC TOOL STUDIO, Walter Window Mode, WALTER METROLOGY CENTER) and comprehensive customer care, from commissioning to rebuild to remote service. The production of globally deployed tool processing machines has been taking place in Kuřim near Brno (Czech Republic) for over 25 years; the metrology development center is located in Garbsen. WALTER, together with EWAG, forms a technology group within UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS, one of the largest tool machine groups worldwide with approximately 5,000 employees at over 50 locations.

Quality
WALTER HELICHECK CNC measuring machines perform through-put and on-put measurements independently of the operator, controlled by CNC, and with µ-accuracy, monitoring the production process with documented accuracy in one setup. Additionally, 3D scanning with target model comparison (CAD/CAM) and the Laser Contour Check option are available for non-contact in-process measurement.
