About Walter Mauser
Walter Mauser GmbH (MauserCABS) develops and produces driver, safety and tractor cabins as well as retrofit cabins for agricultural and forestry vehicles, construction machinery, forklifts and industrial trucks, municipal equipment, lawn and golf course maintenance machines as well as utility and special vehicles. The portfolio of services encompasses the complete design and technical development of cabin systems, prototype production and testing, testing and certification in accordance with common standards, as well as the manufacture of the fixtures, gauges and injection moulding tools required for production as custom-made solutions. Production is divided into sheet metal working, laser cutting, tube bending and welding, followed by surface finishing with zinc phosphating, KTL dip priming and powder coating; the final step is the assembly and equipping of the cabins. The company works with a high level of vertical integration and procures components from renowned manufacturers in Austria and Europe. Around 300 employees deliver cabins with an export share of about 95 % to Europe, the USA and Canada. Since 2023, Walter Mauser GmbH has been part of the Fortaco Group.
