About us
WAM Bachmann GmbH, based in Kleinwallstadt, specialises in till and billing systems for car wash tunnels. The WAM billing system, a successor of the ELBERT system, was first established in 1998 as an MS-DOS variant and was replaced in 2004 by a Windows version that has been continuously developed ever since. The range of services includes development, delivery, installation, commissioning and service of the system as well as customised software and hardware solutions for till systems, value card systems, time recording, barcode printing and scanning, machine control and remote maintenance. In addition, operating consoles for car wash tunnels and central vacuum systems as well as stainless steel till desks with touch panel, RFID card reader, receipt printer and fingerprint sensor are manufactured. The multilingual system (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian) is compatible with almost all machine manufacturers on the European market and is used throughout Germany as well as in nearby European countries by renowned corporations such as ARAL, COSY-WASCH and MAX-AUTOWASCH as well as by individual operators.
