Waning Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1959 and, as a technical service provider, implements construction projects in the trades of heating, plumbing, ventilation and cooling, with a focus on industrial, commercial and hospital construction. With over 95 employees and revenue of around €17 million (2015), the company executes projects throughout Germany. A particular focus is the air conditioning of data centers: Waning contributed to the refrigeration equipment of more than 20 high-security data centers, including the SuperMUC at the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre in Munich with innovative warm-water cooling. At the company headquarters in Vreden, large plant components up to complete boiler houses are prefabricated in-house using plasma cutting, welding machines and assembly; 25 employees hold welding qualifications according to DIN EN 287.
