About Warmup

Warmup GmbH is the German subsidiary of the British Warmup Group, founded in 1994, a production and development company specialising in electric underfloor heating solutions. The portfolio includes heating mats and heating cables (including StickyMat, DCM-PRO, WIS, the WLFH aluminium foil heating system), outdoor area and frost protection heating, pipe trace heating and gutter heating, self-regulating heating cables, thermostats as well as insulation and impact sound insulation systems. In terms of materials, fluoropolymer insulation is used for heating wires, fibreglass fabric as the carrier material of the heating mats, and aluminium laminate for foil heating systems and insulation boards. Warmup manufactures some products in Europe and operates a headquarters for research and development in Wildeshausen near Bremen with three test laboratories designed to EN 442-2, in which heat output, heat distribution and energy consumption are tested under standardised conditions. In addition to its product range, the company offers planning and drawing services, installation plans, operating cost calculations, training, installation services and a 24/7 technical hotline. The systems are used in residential construction, hotels, commercial applications, public buildings, modular construction and outdoor applications; more than 2.5 million installed systems in 72 countries demonstrate the group's international reach.

Materials & Systems

WLFH

Aluminium laminate (aluminium foil heating system)

Used in the WLFH foil heating system with an installation height of only 1 mm for laminate and vinyl floors.

SM

Fibreglass fabric

Carrier material of the self-adhesive StickyMat heating mats.

FP

Fluoropolymer

Insulates the heating wires of mat and cable systems, including IPX7 certification for wet areas.

UL

Aluminium (Ultralight insulation board)

Insulation boards under the heating systems reduce installation height and heat-up time.
