Waskönig GmbH in Sprockhövel manufactures sealing rings, gaskets and general stamped parts for the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1, Tier 2), mechanical engineering, workshops and the spare parts trade. The product range includes solid sealing rings, filled sealing rings, twin rings, bonded seals, flange gaskets, soft-material gaskets, O-rings, custom gaskets made to drawing as well as assortment cases. Manufacturing includes stamping, embossing, deep drawing, flanging, turning, deburring, annealing and hardening as well as the vulcanization of metal-rubber composite gaskets and the production of O-rings by injection and compression moulding. Material range: copper, aluminium, steel and spring steels, stainless steels, brass, nickel, Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, silver, bronze, lead, zinc as well as elastomers such as NBR, HNBR, FPM and EPDM; over 130 materials in around 35,000 formats. In-house stamping tool manufacture with CAD-supported design and optical sorting machines for 100% inspection ensure quality. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001:2015 and supplies, among others, thyssenkrupp and thyssenkrupp nucera.
