Wassmer Spezialmaschinen GmbH is a machine and plant manufacturer based in Heitersheim, specializing in cutting, separation and machining techniques. The company develops and manufactures individual machines and complete systems, in particular grinding, drilling, sawing and laminating machines as well as 6-sided machining systems with robotics, handling, measurement and quality inspection. The entire value chain from development through design and production to assembly, commissioning and worldwide service takes place in its own plant. In contract manufacturing, system components are milled, turned, sawed, ground, burned and welded in-house. The systems mainly machine refractory ceramics, technical ceramics, graphite, slide gate plates, glass tank blocks as well as foams and nonwovens in laminating technology. Every system is assembled, run in and accepted by pre-acceptance at the plant before delivery to the customer – 100 % "Made in Germany".

Quality
Quality is monitored throughout the entire assembly process by accompanying inspection protocols and specialized assembly technicians. Every system is completely assembled at the plant, tested in a trial run and only delivered after pre-acceptance by the customer; final acceptance is carried out with a machine capability study and acceptance protocols for the machine geometry.
