waste2energy GmbH, based in Vienna, plans, delivers and supports the operation of CE-certified, mobile small-scale biogas plants on container basis. The plants convert biogenic waste such as manure from large livestock, green cuttings and food residues into methane gas through 100 % biological processes, which is processed in the combined heat and power plant into electricity, heat and digestate fertilizer. The smallest plant delivers up to 80,000 kWh of electricity and 155,000 kWh of heat per year and processes less than 2 t of waste daily; up to 7 containers can be combined. The range of services includes planning, permitting, financing including subsidy consulting as well as support from commissioning to regular operation, each subject to a positive profitability calculation. Customers are farmers, food processors and municipalities; sales are conducted jointly with the German partner corntec throughout Europe.
