About Waterkotte Schweiz
Waterkotte Schweiz AG was founded in 2016 as a sales and service company for heat pumps and today looks after around 10'000 systems in Switzerland. The company designs each heat pump system individually, drawing the hydraulic and electrical schematics itself, and supplies heat pumps together with the matching buffer, domestic hot water and combination tanks. The product range comprises 51 heat pump models for the heat sources air, ground probe, groundwater and ice storage, using the natural refrigerant R290, from the brine-to-water heat pump for single-family homes to industrial systems in the megawatt range. After commissioning, the systems remain under observation via remote monitoring; service and spare parts are also offered for twenty-year-old systems. Further fields of activity include ground probe regeneration, cold local heating with district solutions, cascade systems and the integration of photovoltaics via a smart controller. Customers include the City of Lausanne, the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) and the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.
