About WCP GmbH

WCP GmbH (Wire Cut Prototypes) is a manufacturing company founded in 2001 and based in Messel (Hesse), specialising in prototype construction, sample production and small series. The company produces complex sheet metal bent parts, electrical sheets, insert technology and assemblies – from the initial idea to series production. The processes include stamping (also contacts-on-reel and pre-stamped strips), bending, EDM, laser welding on semi-automatic robots as well as sub-assembly production and assembly. A focus lies on electrical contact technologies such as the EloPin® press-fit technology and IDC insulation displacement technology. Parts are produced in special alloys such as Wieland-K55, Stol 65m, Stol 76 (KME) and CuSn6; pre-stamped strips with qualified EloPin press-in zones are available in thicknesses of 0.4/0.6/0.8/1.2 mm. Customers come from automotive, medical, aerospace engineering and defence. Quality is certified to IATF 16949:2016; systems such as knuckle-joint presses, stamping presses and EDM machines ensure consistent product quality.
