Weda Robotics develops and manufactures remotely operated underwater robots in Sweden for the cleaning of industrial water infrastructure. The robots operate fully submerged and remove sludge, sediments, suspended solids, algae and chemical residues without tanks or basins having to be emptied. Thanks to remote operation from a safe distance, no personnel entry into confined spaces is required (no-man entry), which improves safety and throughput. The portfolio includes models such as W50, YT-800 and VR-600 for applications ranging from public swimming pools to large reservoirs and water towers. Customers are cleaning service providers and industrial operators in industries such as wastewater, mining, aquaculture, oil & gas, energy as well as food and beverages. According to the company, Weda robots are in use in over 40 countries on 5 continents.
