About wedi
wedi GmbH, based in Emsdetten, has been developing and manufacturing system solutions for bathrooms and wet rooms for more than 40 years. The portfolio includes level-access shower elements of the Fundo range with point and linear drainage, building boards for tiling, wall elements, waterproofing systems as well as joint-free design surfaces (wedi Top Line) and design elements such as washbasins, benches and bathtubs. The core material is an extruded polystyrene foam core (XPS) with a factory-applied special coating; drainage technology and shower channels are made, among other things, from ABS and stainless steel (V2A). The shower elements feature factory-integrated slope and tolerances of ±1 mm (length/width) and ±1.5 mm (thickness/drainage position). Customers include tradespeople, architecture and planning firms, specialist retailers, private customers, as well as spa and wellness projects, prefabricated house construction and modular building. Since 2021, wedi has been part of the ARDEX Group and offers a joint system warranty with ARDEX.
