Weidauer Holzhandel GmbH is a family-owned company from Lauter-Bernsbach in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) that has been active in the timber trade since 1924 and, following its re-establishment in 1991 by the brothers Steffen and Ulrich Weidauer, has become an established partner for tradespeople and private builders in Saxony. The product range includes construction timber in the form of battens, planks, boards, solid structural timber (KVH) and glued laminated timber (BSH), planed products, wood-based panels and materials such as MDF, HDF, OSB, ESB, laminboard and plywood panels as well as coated decorative and worktop panels with HPL surfaces. The programme is complemented by facade profiles in wood, WPC, HPL and Werzalit, wood fibre insulation materials and roofing materials. In-house services include wood drying in a drying chamber, timber cutting, planed products and impregnation of construction timber. The corporate group operates several sites in Lauter-Bernsbach and Chemnitz with showrooms, wholesale and retail, warehouses as well as a service and logistics centre, and delivers to construction sites with its own vehicle fleet within a radius of approximately 60 km.
