About Weier GmbH

Weier GmbH, based in Drolshagen, has specialized in the maintenance and repair of defective or worn cylindrical components since 1992. The core service is the specialized process for restoring fill chambers (Shot Sleeves), offered since 1994. This is primarily used in the aluminum and magnesium die-casting industry and is a standard for many renowned companies. The repair is considered a cost-effective, fast, and ecological alternative to new purchases, as it conserves resources and reduces CO2 emissions. The range of services also includes precision laser welding for intricate repairs on tools and workpieces, contract honing for diameters from 70 to 600 mm and lengths up to 6 m, as well as machining in turning, milling, and drilling. With 7-axis welding robots, a modern machine park, complete logistics including pickup and return transport, and an EXPRESS service, Weier GmbH serves foundries, vehicle construction, the steel industry, power generation, and mechanical and plant engineering.
