Weigand Electronics is an owner-managed company founded in 1996, headquartered in Rodenbach in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis (Hesse). The company is not a manufacturing operation, but specializes in the purchase and sale as well as the procurement of electronic components in the field of CNC and PLC automation technology. The focus is on old and discontinued assemblies as spare parts – including from Siemens (Sinumerik, Simodrive, Simatic), Fanuc, Indramat/Bosch Rexroth and Heidenhain – in order to enable machine operators long machine runtimes and low downtime. Further service areas are the assembly and disassembly of machines and systems including transport and proper, environmentally sound disposal of electronic components no longer required, as well as consulting and brokerage of telecommunications systems, in particular products from Unify/Siemens HiPath. Customers come from CNC and PLC automation technology, mechanical engineering and the telecommunications industry.
